GUIDED BUS TOUR IN SAVONLINNA
Duration: ca. 1,5 hours

Along the route you can see part of the historical centre of town Savonlinna, Olavintori – site for the old market place and current administrative centre of the town, the market place and the charming passenger harbour. We drive across few of the numerous bridges in Savonlinna to visit the industrial area in the eastern part of the town. From there the tour continues to the west, where we see an old but still functioning shipyard and a bell tower dating back to the 18th century.
Upon request we can include an additional ½ h walk along the Linnankatu Street, the oldest street in the Finnish inland, leading to the medieval fortress, the Olavinlinna Castle.
GUIDED WALKING TOUR IN THE HEART OF SAVONLINNA
Duration: ca. 1,5 hours
A leisurely walking tour around the centre of Savonlinna, including the market place, the historical Linnankatu Street and the surroundings of the Olavinlinna Castle. We will also walk past the town hall and see the Casino Spa and Kasino Islands.
Also available a shorter walk, 1h, concentrating on Linnankatu Street and the surroundings of the Olavinlinna Castle.
SPALIFE ON THE KASINO ISLANDS, GUIDED WALKING TOUR

At the beginning of the 20th century Savonlinna was a lively small town. The newly built Spa attracted both native and foreign guests to spend their summers in the midst of the beautiful lakeland. The walk takes you around the Kasino Islands and portrays a picture of the Spa life in the golden era of the Czars.
